I've included an example (from real life) of usage of the ruby-audiofile extension. It's a CDDB extension :) With examples of its own usage, but no documentation :/ - anyway. get it: cddb-0.2.tar.gz

A Ruby script that will play any audio file that the audiofile library supports. 10 lines. play.rb.txt (Requires Linux::SoundDSP, part of LinuxDevices. See RAA for download. Seems it's disappeared? oh well)

I've also written an extension to get at libshout, to shout things at icecast.
